Snow day pics

I am sooo slacking! I have been working so hard the past few days on my etsy items and taking new pics...it's paying off though, I've had a lot more interest. Plus 2 sales and a few more to come!

So earlier this week it snowed like crazy for like 2 days...I know it's April..?? So I ventured out with Becca and had some fun. It was kinda nice, so very beautiful so I took lots of pics. I took one from the driveway so you can see my new pad.

Tomorrow I have some family coming over for Easter dinner. I also plan to make some cookies with Becca because I have an egg and bunny shaped cutters to put to use. I am going to see what other craft I can throw together.

Etsy sale!

I had my first real Etsy sale today! A lady asked if I could do jean material in a clip and so I did and she bought that listing plus another set of clips! I was so excited! Plus I may do another for her soon for a baptism. I have worked soooo hard on this store and making cute clips and it makes you feel so good when it pays off!

So tomorrow morning I am dropping Josh off in town and he is heading to St Catherines for the weekend for a big dart tournament. It will be lonely but I have plenty to do!

Will update some more tomorrow, just got another email about bows! Whoo hoo!

Turkey's and pizza

A couple weeks ago I decided on the spur of the moment to make a quick pizza and cookies out of foam sheets. They are pretty funny looking but Becca had fun with them, she pretended to eat them and we had a little tea party. Very fun.


A couple days ago, before the snow...ugh. I was feeding the birds (because I have a yard now!) and while I was watching all of a sudden 2 wild turkey's showed up! It was so cool to watch but they are pigs and ate all the seeds. Then a group of 6 more came but they stayed on the other side of the fence. The "big man" turkey was the best, all his feathers fluffed out. Pretty neat sight to see. I showed Becca them and she thought they were pretty cool as well!



So ya its snowing like crazy here today, kinda sucks, I thought snow was gone. Oh well I guess it won't last too long.

I have returned

After almost a month I finally have Internet again! YAHOO!!!!!!!! So I am in my new home and I love it. Bigger and quiet and a nice big yard. I feel at peace here. Rebecca is just thriving here too...she loves being outside and collecting "cones" (pine cones)and rocks in her bucket. It doesn't matter if it's cold or not, she's happy. She is also finally, after 20 months, sleeping in her own room, through the night and falling asleep by herself!! This is huge! I am so proud of her.

She has been talking up a storm as well. Counting to 21 with help, but her usual method is 1,2,3,4,5,16,18,19,20...its very cute. She knows her shapes and points them out on numerous different things. Its so very amazing to watch and help them learn all these things.

She has become quite obsessed with In the night garden...she watches it every night before bed and can name every character. What a strange little show.

cups

Rebecca's new obsession is money and cups, all sizes and types. She likes to put the money into the cup and then go find another cup and dump the money into that one, and so on and so on...this will occupy her for quite a while. Also a new fav. of hers lately is driving around her toy bus. She will drive it up the walls, on my head, everywhere...its way too cute. She seems really content lately playing all by herself (which is good for me to pack) I guess her imagination is taking her to all kinds of places!

So tomorrow is moving day and I probably won't be around too much for the rest of the week....I will fill you all in whenever I can though.

more puddles

Here is another puddle pic but this time with rubber boots! Gosh she loves puddles. She gets soooo excited. I know I haven't been posting much but we've been sick and I've been packing and making items for my store so busy busy. Becca has been content playing with toys lately, she really likes driving her train around.

So we do the big move on Tuesday! I can't wait! YAYAYYAY


Here is a pic of my first ever sewing project. A tag(gie) turtle! Its a bit funny looking but it was a first try. I hope to make all kinds of tag animals and animal bow holders. What do you think of it?

Whats for lunch??

Check out my cutie pie in her new rain boots and jammie's!! She is such a big girl now. I asked her to show me her boots and wow, I got a show! She loves them and its supposed to rain this weekend so will will be testing them out and I will share some pics!

Also Becca decided to cook her animals today...birds in the microwave and if you didn't want that to eat she has many more animals in the fridge!



She is finally feeling a bit better today and actually ate some food and drank her milk! YAY!!! Oh and guess what! This will be our last weekend in this apt!! We move on Tuesday to our house! I am so excited, its so much nicer and QUIET and bigger...heaven.
